Hanoi brings green products to consumers
People can directly experience products that meet quality and origin standards, identify genuine products.
THE HANOI TIMES — The Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the People's Committee of Phu Dien Ward, opened the Green Goods and Products for Consumers Fair on the night of September 5.
In his opening speech, Nguyen The Hiep, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, said that the fair aims to help remove difficulties, support businesses, promote total retail sales growth and balance supply and demand in the city.

“The fair is an opportunity for businesses to promote their brands, introduce products, and grasp the needs and tastes of consumers in the capital. People can directly experience products that meet quality and origin standards, identify genuine products, try them for free and connect with businesses, improving trust in Vietnamese products,” said Hiep.
The event also supports the “Action for Protecting Consumer Rights in 2025” program, aiming to build a healthy business environment, boost consumer demand, and foster a safe and responsible consumer community.
The Department of Industry and Trade recommends that businesses prepare sufficient goods, ensure quality and clear origin, offer reasonable prices, and provide attractive promotions in accordance with regulations.
In particular, businesses must not trade fake, counterfeit, or poor quality goods to protect the rights of consumers and the interests of businesses.

With 160 booths, the fair attracted 100 businesses that showcased products that meet quality and origin standards.
Four groups of products were displayed at the fair, including agricultural products: rice, dried bananas, coffee, freeze-dried fruits, fresh fruits, cashew nuts and among others.
The second group is food products, with sugar, fish sauce, packaged coffee, tea, canned and frozen products, rice noodles, vermicelli and bird's nest.
Handicraft products include ceramics, high-quality lacquer ware, rattan and bamboo, horn and leather, bronze, embroidery paintings, hand-embroidered bags and blankets.
Meanwhile, garment products feature clothes, silk, hand-embroidered textile products.
