The Hanoi Traditional and Creative Space Exhibition 2025 will be held from August 28 to September 5 at the Vietnam Exposition Center, Hanoi’s Dong Anh Commune.
Spanning 15,000 square meters, Hanoi’s exhibition area is divided into five zones to showcase outstanding products, One Commune One Product (OCOP) goods and traditional crafts. It will also feature artisan performances, displays of technology and key industrial products, a culinary space, cultural miniatures, models and art performances.
Vo Nguyen Phong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade said that the exhibition is carefully prepared with reputable contractors selected to ensure both progress and quality.
Hanoi’s booth highlights its unique identity as a “City for Peace”, a UNESCO title awarded in 1999, alongside iconic symbols such as Long Bien Bridge, the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, the Temple of Literature and the Hanoi Flag Tower.
Beyond its heritage, the capital will introduce modern achievements through advanced technologies. Those include a master plan that models Hanoi's future development using AI-powered narration to enhance public engagement.
At the inspection, Vice Chairman Quyen said that government agencies should provide full technical, spatial and logistic support for businesses and artisans.
He emphasized expanding the display of craft village products and Hanoi’s key industrial goods to better showcase the capital’s socio-economic achievements.
Quyen urged organizers to set up check-in spaces, guides and compelling displays, aiming to demonstrate socio-economic progress made across Hanoi and the country over the past 80 years.
The presentation should instill pride and a sense of contribution among citizens, the vice chairman added.
He also called for stronger communication and promotion efforts to spread Hanoi’s artistic, cultural and technological values, unique identity and aspiration for global stature.
Quyen also requested that consultants and organizers ensure security, fire prevention, environmental hygiene and labor safety throughout the event.
