On September 29, elite restaurants, including Michelin-starred ones, will showcase their culinary skills at the Hanoi Cuisine Introduction Space 2023 in Hanoi. The event, themed "Vietnamese culinary quintessence", will run from September 29 to October 1 at the Hanoi Children's Cultural Palace.

Hanoi Cuisine Introduction Space promotes Hanoi's cuisine as a tourist draw during the celebration of the capital's Liberation Day (October 10, 1954). Tourism has long been seen as a key driving factor for Hanoi's development since its administrative boundary expansion 15 years ago.
Tourists and locals can enjoy handicraft products and Vietnamese culinary culture at the Introduction Space.
This place will be divided into thematic areas where traditional Hanoi dishes such as La Vong grilled fish, Phu Thuong sticky rice, O Mai (dried fruits), and Vietnamese baguettes will be displayed and their preparation technique demonstrated.
Meanwhile, after tasting Hanoi Pho (noodle soup), visitors will learn how to make rice noodles, the ingredient of this dish.
Visitors can also experience the art forms of handicraft villages, rural markets and folk games.
Along with local food, the event will showcase international cuisine and Michelin-starred restaurants.
One of the most popular things for tourists, when they come to Hanoi, is to experience street food, this time prepared by renowned chefs and artisans at the Hanoi Cuisine Introduction Space.
The history and geography of Vietnamese spices are told through the "Vietnamese Spice Map" (map of places with typical flavors by region). The flavors on the map are sourced from 100% natural spice seeds.
