Hanoi encourage Japanese enterprises to invest in infrastructure, environment

On August 3, Chairman of Hanoi People`s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung received the Union delegation of Vietnam - Japan friendship from Osaka Province (Japan), led by Mr. Nakamura Tetsunosuke, the Union President, who has a working visit in Vietnam.

At the meeting, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung affirmed that Vietnam - Japan strategic partnership plays a significant role. He said, in the past few years, the Capital's economic achievements has a positive contribution of foreign investors, including Japanese companies. "Investment cooperation with Japanese companies to bring positive results, with the result that many infrastructure projects, significant transportation for Hanoi have been built, such as Nhat Tan Bridge across the Red River - the symbol relationship of the two countries' friendship ", Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung stressed.

Expressing his gratitute for being respectfully received by the City's leaders, Mr. Tetsunosuke Nakamura said that the Union was established in 2007, is a bridge to boost Vietnam - Japan ties, as well as Osaka Prefecture and Vietnam's cities" vietnamese. He also expressed his impression about the speed of economic development of Vietnam, of Hanoi Capital and said that the purpose of the delegation's visit is to understand the mechanisms and policies to promote investment in Vietnam as well as Hanoi in the field of environmental remediation, waste recycling; at the mean time promoting, expanding cooperation in economic development, cultural exchange, experience exchange, promoting the friendly relations of the two countries.

Tetsunosuke Nakamura expressed his excitement and said that he will join Japanese MPs to actively expand the developed cooperation with Hanoi in the fields of economy and cultural exchanges in order to contribute to the development of the two countries.

* The same day, Chairwoman of the Hanoi People's Council Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc has received Mr. Nakamura Tetsunosuke. At the meeting, City Council Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc said that in the context of Vietnam - Japan bilateral relation is in a very nice stage, the visit will be the bridge to further strengthen bilateral relations. Appreciating the Japanese investment in recent years, City Council Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc said the investment policy and environmental issues are two fields of interest in Hanoi.
