Hanoi exchanges experiences in e-government with Russia

Hanoi city is always willing to partner with Russian enterprises in learning experiences and invest in building e-government.

Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung on February 19 hosted a delegation of Russian experts and firms led by Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media M.Mamonov, to discuss expreriences in e-government.

Accordingly, the visit of the delegation of Russian experts and firms of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation on February 18-20 is being carried out under the Memorandum of Understanding between Vietnam's Government Office and the Russian ministry on the construction and development of e-government.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung expressed his admiration for the results that the Russian Federation has achieved in the process of building e-government, especially the unification of services and functions of the government. Chung also emphasized the possibility of cooperation in this field.
Hanoi City is always willing to work with Russian enterprises in learning experiences and invest in building e-government, he noted.
The chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee believes that the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia in general and the cooperation between Hanoi and Moscow will deepen. He stressed the importance of building e-government, towards the digital economy and digital society of Vietnam in general and Hanoi in particular.
At the meeting, Mamonov Mikhail briefed on the design of the Russian national public service portal, solutions to identify and authenticate on the national public service portal and information systems for interacting with citizens, businesses, and advising on building a network of safety information for the Government Office to ensure information security for the e-government system implemented by the Government Office.
Deputy Minister Mamonov Mikhail also shared his experience in deploying the model of Moscow Public Administration Center, Smart City and the possibility for application in Vietnam.
