According to the organizers, the opening ceremony will include a solemn incense offering at the Memorial to honor national heroes, martyrs, and patriots. Visitors will then witness an artistic reenactment of the triumphant homecoming, enriched by memories from historical witnesses and families of former soldiers.
The exhibition is structured into three themed sections: “Perseverance and Persistence,” “Hanoi – The Day of Victory,” and “The Scent and Color of Hanoi.”
The first section revisits the winter of 1946, when Hanoians, armed with little more than determination and improvised weapons, turned rooftops and alleys into battlegrounds. For 60 days and nights, they resisted French forces, answering President Ho Chi Minh’s call for national resistance with a unyielding spirit.

The second section, “Hanoi – The Day of Victory,” recreates October 10, 1954, when jubilant crowds filled flower-decked streets to greet soldiers marching in triumph. It also highlights the strategic efforts that ensured a peaceful handover and safeguarded the city’s infrastructure.
The final section, “The Scent and Color of Hanoi,” offers a poetic tribute to the capital’s cultural identity, blending tradition with modern life. Through imagery and storytelling, it portrays Hanoi as a cradle of enduring heritage, peace, and pride.
“Forever Resounding Triumph” pays tribute to a generation of heroes while reminding today’s citizens of the city’s resilience and cultural continuity. For visitors, the exhibition offers an evocative journey through Hanoi’s historic struggles and triumphs.
The exhibition will run until November 2025.
