Besides, people can attend bustling activities like farm product markets, street food made from organic products, lucky draw, minigames, animation, music performance, among others.

Director of the Promotion Center for Trade and Agriculture under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said that the Farm Product Weekend Fair is organized to connect farmers with the Big C and GO! supermarket chains in Vietnam, thereby supporting the creation and development of sustainable agricultural value chains.

“The opening event at Big C Thang Long Hanoi this weekend is the kick-starter for a series of the four subsequent fairs which will be held at Big C Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa province), Big C An Lac (Ho Chi Minh City) and Big C Can Tho (Can Tho city),” Ho said.

The Farm Product Weekend Fair is held after the model of famous JingJai market in Thailand to bring new shopping experience for customers every weekend.

The fair is like a mini festival so that all local residents have an opportunity to experience high-quality products in a friendly and close space and manufacturers to grasp opportunities to boost consumption and learn users’ feedback.
