Hanoi hosts exhibition to mark 60th anniversary of Hanoi – Hue - Saigon twinning

The exhibition will run until October 15.

An exhibition themed “Hanoi - Hue - Saigon: Tradition and Development” is underway at the Temple of Literature in Hanoi to celebrate the 1,010th anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi, the 60th anniversary of the twinning of three Vietnamese cities and the 66th anniversary of the capital city's Liberation Day.

The event, organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, features more than 300 photos and documents on the cultural heritage and socio-economic achievements of Hanoi, Thua-Thien Hue and Ho Chi Minh City.
The exhibition affirms the sisterhood relationship and highlights a historical perspective of the cooperation and joint work of heritage tourism development among the three cities.

On October 8, 1960, at Ba Dinh-Hanoi Club, the twinning between the main cities of Vietnam that are Hanoi - Hue - Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh city) materialized, further improving the kinship of Vietnamese of all the regions of the country in the war to safeguard the nation.
