Hanoi inaugurates Co Linh - Vinh Tuy bridge flyover

Hanoi People`s Committee held a ceremony on March 9 to put a flyover at the Co Linh - Vinh Tuy bridge intersection into operation.

Attending the opening ceremony were Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung, Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Hong Truong, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Municipal People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Nguyen The Hung, among others.
The Co Linh - Vinh Tuy Bridge flyover is one of Hanoi's eight key traffic projects of approved by the Prime Minister to apply specific investment mechanism. The construction of flyover bridge which was given a direct contract to accelerate the progress, aims to contribute to addressing traffic jam in Hanoi.

The flyover bridge was invested over VND 161 billion with its width of 12 meters and length of 216 meters.
According to Director of Hanoi Traffic Construction Project Management Board Pham Hoang Tuan, the flyover bridge, which was commenced the construction from last July, has been completed on schedule.
Speaking at the inaugurating ceremony, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen The Hung highly appreciated the efforts of contractors and construction units who have overcome all difficulties in order to put the project into use as scheduled.
On the occasiin, on behalf of Hanoi leaders, Vice Chairman Nguyen The Hung issued the order to put officially the Co Linh - Vinh Tuy Bridge flyover into operation.
