Joining the “VGreen’s Bike Tours”, travelers will have the chance to visit famous tourist sites and learn about the daily lives of artisans in the capital’s craft streets.

A series of cycling tours to discover Hanoi and nearby destinations called “VGreen's Bike Tours” has just been introduced by the VGreen Sustainable Tourism Club (Hanoi Travel Association) to cycling lovers in Hanoi.

Of the offers, the one-day pedaling around Hanoi entitled “The Essence of Trang An” is the highlight of the program. Joining this bicycle tour, travelers will have the opportunity to explore Hanoi’s famous streets in West Lake and Hoan Kiem Lake area; visit cultural and architectural heritages of Hanoi such as Quan Chuong Gate, Cua Bac Church, Hanoi’s Flagpole, Hoa Lo Prison Relic, Thang Long Imperial Citadel, among others. Travelers will also be able to learn about the daily lives of artisans in the craft streets of Hanoi’s Old Quarter.
Other cycling tours that are also introduced by VGreen Club include “Thang Long - Tu Tran” One-day Cycling Tour to explore four ancient temples of the Thang Long Citadel Guardians; Two-day-one-night tour to discover tourist sites outside Hanoi such as Co Loa Ancient Citadel, Ba Vi Mountain, Duong Lam Ancient Village, and Bat Trang Pottery Village.
Chairman of the Hanoi Travel Association Phung Quang Thang said that the “VGreen’s Bike Tours” has been initiated by VGreen Sustainable Tourism Club since the end of 2020 with the aim of creating a more differentiated and attractive travel experience in Hanoi.

“The trend of traveling that combines sport and wellness is gaining ground all over the world. Cycling Tours in Hanoi and surrounding areas to target foreign tourists while encouraging domestic travelers to take part in,” he said.
“Besides, travelers usually prefer touring in a small group, in compliance with the Government’s requirements on Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control,” he added.
According to Lan Huong, an office worker in Hanoi, cycling is a good sport to help lose fat, gain muscle especially for the legs, and release stress after work.
“I used to pedal around West Lake to exercise. When learning about the bike cycling tour, my friends and I immediately joined the trip to discover more hidden beauties of the city, something we could not do if only cycling around the West Lake,” she told The Hanoi Times.
In addition, VGreen Travel Club also introduced 13 cycling itineraries departing from Hanoi to other localities such as Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Nam Dinh; Hanoi - Hoa Binh - Thanh Hoa Tour; Hanoi - Yen Bai - Ha Giang Tour, among others.
Tourists need to be fully vaccinated and with proof of a negative result of the Covid-19 test to be able to travel.
The organizer also provides specialized electric sports bicycles to help travelers easily move on all terrains. The tours are scheduled to be held every weekend, starting at the end of November 2022.
