Hanoi - Paris to strengthen development cooperation in various fields

From August 25-27, Hanoi`s high level delegation led by the Chairman of Hanoi People`s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung had a working visit in Paris - the Capital of France.

Hanoi delegation visited and worked with many agencies and enterprises of France in the fields of environment, health, construction investment, etc. to open many opportunities for bilateral cooperation in new fields as well as to promote and strengthen ties more in-depth, practical and effective between Hanoi and Paris.

The visit of Hanoi high-ranking delegation aims to focus on promoting cooperation to find solutions, solving some of the major issues set out in the development of Hanoi. At the mean time improving the quality of health services for the people. The visit is an opportunity to learn experiences so that Hanoi can build new international hospital of European standards in the Capital.

In Paris, the delegation visited the office and learned model of health care in French big hospitals such as Necker Children's Hospital, Salpetriere-Pities Heart Hospital, Corentin-Celton Hospital. At the meeting with EMS Emergency Center under the Necker Children's Hospital, the two sides agreed on the content of cooperation include supporting professional training, management training and building health care systems. 

Through discussions, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung praised the development and quality of health services in France, at the same time sharing that Hanoi is also currently focusing on investment in building a new specialty hospital in the next 5 years, including a heart hospital, children hospital in Hanoi. On that basis, Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung wants the partner's coordinated interest to help Hanoi in 6 followings: (1) Professional training, intensive care for doctors; (2) Building a system of family doctors; (3) The plan for improving quality health care in Hanoi's health sector; (4) Treatment and remote diagnosis; (5) Developing an emergency system of Hanoi standards in Paris; (6) Connecting systems to hospitals and research centers of the two City.

Director Martin Hirsch expressed willingness to cooperate with Hanoi in the above-mentioned contents, wishing to implement the specific content to contribute to bringing practical benefits, development of health services in Hanoi.

One of the content that Hanoi delegation worked in Paris is to find solutions to overcome the current pollution of Hanoi - the top concern of city government.

Through the meeting with French companies AirParif, the two sides exchanged views on the cooperation and support in the installation and operation of monitoring systems, human resource training, technical support analysis and data processing for Hanoi.

It is expected that the official visit of the French President to Vietnam in September, 2016, Hanoi People's Committee and the company signed a contract of AirParifse service provider about setting up monitoring systems and air quality included solutions to public policy to improve air quality in the Capital in the near future.

In Paris, Hanoi high-level delegation worked with leaders of JCDecaux Corporation. Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung was particularly interested in attracting French investment. For promotion, calling for investment in development projects of the city, the delegation visited and worked with a number of major French companies such as Bouygues Construction Group, JCDecaux Ad Group.

Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung said that Hanoi always welcomes the comments and facilitates, supports for French enterprises investing and operating in the Capital.

Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung also send invitation to representatives of the company to visit Hanoi to exchange, discuss the specific content of cooperation in the coming period. During the visit, the delegation also visited the organizational model and business in the Europe's largest international wholesale market Rungis.

The visit and work of the Hanoi delegation in Paris, France has ended successfully. The contents exchanged and cooperated during the visit are expected to be realized as soon as possible, creating the basis for further expansion of cooperation development between Hanoi and Paris in particular, at the maen time further strengthening the friendly relations and cooperation between Vietnam and France in general.
