Hanoi Party chief expects greater support from Vietnam Fatherland Front

Serving as a bridge between the government and the people, the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Hanoi committee has been an essential part in the political system.

Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue expected the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Hanoi committee to continue promoting national solidarity and unity, as well as excelling in its role of social supervision and social criticism to support the development of Hanoi.

Mr. Hue made the suggestion in his visit to the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Hanoi committee on November 18 on the occasion of the 90th founding anniversary of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 – November 18, 2020), the predecessor of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

According to Mr. Hue, over the years, the Hanoi committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has carried out patriotic emulation campaigns, which received positive responses from the community.

Given the organization’s role as a bridge between the government and the people, the front has been an essential part in the political system and contributed to the successful realization of the city’s socio-economic development targets.

Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Hanoi committee Nguyen Lan Huong expressed her thanks for the attention of the city’s leaders.

Ms. Huong said as the Covid-19 pandemic has caused significant socio-economic impacts, the front's Hanoi chapter has been giving priority to addressing concerns of the people and supporting the process of capacity building within the Party and the local government.

“The Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Hanoi committee is committed to enhancing efficiency in operation to be worthy of its role as the bridge between the people and the government, in turn contributing to the development of Hanoi,” stressed Ms. Huong.
