Hanoi prepares for Hanoi Concert 2017 and Japanese Cultural Exchange

The Department of Culture and Sport has recently hosted a meeting to announce the Japanese Cultural Exchange and the Japanese Cherry Blossom Exhibition and Vietnam Airline Classic – Hanoi Concert 2017.

These programs aim to increase the exchange of experience and cooperation in the fields of culture, tourism and economic cooperation between Hanoi and Japan; further enhance understanding, trust and cohesion between the people of two countries.

Under the plan, the opening ceremony of the Japanese Cultural Exchange and the Japanese Cherry Blossom Exhibition will take place at 8:00 pm on March 10, 2017 at Ly Thai To Garden, Hoan Kiem District.

As planned, 20 cherry blossom trees and 10,000 branches will be on display. Many flowers and ornamental trees native to Vietnam will also be displayed at the event. The events also comprises a tourism promotion seminar, a photo exhibition, marital art performances, and a tea ceremony.

Vietnam Airlines Classic - Hanoi Concert 2017 is set to take place from 7:45 PM to 9:30 PM on March 4 at the site of Ly Thai To statue in Hoan Kiem District. London Symphony Orchestra and conductor Elim Chan will perform a 70-minute concert. The city’s Department of Culture and Sports, the Airports Corporation of Vietnam and Production Thanh Viet Co. Ltd will work hand in hand to hold a press conference for the event.
