Hanoi promotes cooperation in start-up, high technology with Israel

On Sep 15, Chairman of Hanoi’s People Committee Nguyen Duc Chung received new Israeli Ambassador to Vietnam-Mr Nadav Eshcar.

In the framework of the meeting, Nadav Eshcar proposed two initiatives to mark the occasion of 25-years of diplomatic relation between Israel and Vietnam. Specifically, the ambassador suggest exhibiting Israeli technology of planting in non-flat landscape in Hanoi. Besides, Israel can also send artists to Hanoi for decorating the Phung Hung Street (Hoan Kiem Dist, Hanoi). 
Congratulating the Ambassador on his new tenure in Vietnam, Chairman of Hanoi’s People Committee hoped he would contribute to promote and level-up the friendship between Hanoi city as well as Vietnam with Israel. Chung also proposed ambassador to play role as the key figure to push Hanoi and Tel Aviv sign a MoU of cooperation and establish the “brotherhood” tie. Hanoi’s Chairman also want ambassador would speed up the carried out cooperation such as refining clean water from air for Hanoi high-tech hospitals, and exchanging Israel experts to build Hanoi’s portal of ecosystem.
About cooperation potentials, Chairman of Hanoi’s People Committee affirmed, Hanoi and Israel had tradition of collaborating in startup, high technology and hoped these areas keep being the basement for further cooperation chances. Highly valuating the ambassador suggestion's for  anniversary of 25 years establishing Vietnam-Israel, Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung pledged to facilitate all the activities above; and offer that Hanoi’s art team would come to perform in Israel on this occasion, as a way to promote mutual understanding, contribute to improve the tie between Hanoi and Israel.
Paying respect for the warm welcome and positive support from Hanoi’s leader, Ambassador Nadav committed of trying his best for the tie of Hanoi and Israel.
