Hanoi’s pavilion features lacquerware, ceramics, bamboo and rattan products, embroidery, silk and other traditional handicrafts, highlighting the city’s strong export potential.

The Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade will also assist other craft villages and companies in Hanoi, who are not present at the international fair, in advertising their products.

Priority will be given to localities and businesses that are capable of exporting craft products and taking on direct negotiations with global partners.

Hanoi officials and businesses will meet the event organizer to discuss practices and solutions in hosting similar craft fairs.

They will also seek opportunities to set up partnerships with international buyers, and ask them to attend the Hanoi Gift Show, which is scheduled for October 9-12.

In addition, the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade and the Vietnam Trade Office in Japan will discuss ways to link the business communities of the two countries.

The participating companies will receive full funding from Hanoi government to rent, design and decorate the pavilion.

This proves Hanoi's complete commitment to supporting local craft villages and producers in developing and joining the global chains.

The pavilion is expected to welcome around 2,500 visitors, creating opportunities to promote products, foster trade connections, and reach Japanese as well as international partners.

By partaking in the international fair, Hanoi businesses may increase exports to Japan, promote the annual Hanoi Gift Show and enhance international partnerships in the handicraft sector.

Running from September 3 to September 5, the Tokyo International Gift Show 2025 is held at the international exhibition center Tokyo Big Sight in Japan's Tokyo.

In its 100th edition, the event covers nearly 300,000 square meters and gathers some 3,000 exhibitors from 40 countries and territories.

The event organizer expects to attract 50,000 visitors, including major importers.
