Hanoi Radio and Television Station intensifies digital content development

Hanoi Radio and Television Station is pursuing a development strategy to become a strong media conglomerate, in touch with the public in a modern digital content supply chain.

In the 70 years of its existence, Hanoi Radio and Television Station has made strides in digital transformation, expanding its reach to listeners in the digital environment, Le Quoc Minh, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association and Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, said at a ceremony to mark the 70th anniversary of the founding of Hanoi Radio and Television (October 14, 1954-2024).

Minh said that Hanoi Radio and Television has gone through difficult times and is now undergoing strong development, keeping pace with the press at home and abroad.

He praised the determination of the leaders and staff of Hanoi Radio and Television in setting the immediate goal of developing digital content.

Minh believed that with the consensus of leaders and journalists, along with the strong direction of the government and Hanoi leaders, Hanoi Radio and Television would achieve more success. In fact, according to the Ministry of Information and Communication's assessment of the maturity level of digital transformation of the press, Hanoi Radio and Television is among the top 10 best.

"In the face of strong changes in domestic and international media trends, Hanoi Radio and Television Station is pursuing a development strategy to become a strong media conglomerate in touch with the public in a modern digital content supply chain, contributing to the gradual formation of Hanoi's content ecosystem, while reaffirming the unique identity of the capital's radio and television," said Nguyen Kim Khiem, Director General and Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Radio and Television Station, at the ceremony.

After 70 years, the collective of Hanoi Radio and Television is embarking on a new path, full of difficulties and pressures, but with a clear course in mind: an innovative path in terms of media products, technology, management, and ways of reaching out to the public.

"It is not an easy road, but we are determined to move forward, to continue to fulfill the aspirations of previous generations, to continue to be a true value and pride for Hanoi Radio and Television, and to successfully carry out its role as the mouthpiece of the Party Committee, the Government and the people of Hanoi," said Khiem.

Commenting on the recent innovations of Hanoi Radio and Television Station, Deputy Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Ha Minh Hai said: "Hanoi Radio and Television Station is one of the pioneering units in the capital in digital transformation and cultural industry development."

Hai noted that Hanoi Radio and Television remains loyal to the spirit and standpoint of the Hanoi Party Committee, which puts the goal of serving the people of the capital first.

The important contributions of Hanoi Radio and Television Station have been recognized by the Party, State, Government, and people, and it has received many honors and medals.
