Hanoi reopens walking street after one year

Walkers are advised to take precautionary measures when enjoying moments there.

Hoan Kiem walking street has been put back to normal after nearly one year because of Covid-19, returning the central part of Hanoi to the bustling atmosphere.

This walking street is one of the must-go destinations of the city that welcomed 20 million visitors before the global health crisis.

Hoan Kiem walking street was reopened on Mar 18.
The reopening draws a large number of people, mainly young ones.
The return of the walking street gives lots of space for walkers.
Covid prevention measures are still in place and walkers advised to scan QR code.
Disinfection remains one of the prevention measures that Vietnamese people are aware of.
People have leisure time in the wide street near Hoan Kiem lake.
Young people enjoy moments with friends.
The walking street attracts old people...

 ...and children.

 All have good moments there.
