Hanoi responds to Vietnam’s Law Day

The Law Day aims to honor the Constitution and the Law and cultivate people's sense of law observance.

The Hanoi People's Committee has issued a plan to respond to Vietnam Law Day [November 9] in the capital to disseminate the Constitution and Law among residents.

Accordingly, the activities will be launched on November 1, 2022, and will run until November 9, 2022. Moreover, Hanoi's authorities will actively coordinate with the Ministry of Justice to organize these activities nationwide.

In addition, the municipal People's Committee also asked departments and localities to focus on spreading the purpose and meaning of Vietnam's Law Day.

On this occasion, the Hanoi government will also take stock and award winners of the "Learning the law governing behavior in the network environment" contest launched in the city on April 5, 2022.

Specifically, the Hanoi People's Committee asked the localities to select appropriate and practical legal content to educate the population about compliance and observance of the law.

Leaders of districts will popularize examples of good people and good deeds in enforcing and protecting the law and criticize and fight against acts that violate the law or deviate from social standards. They will also raise the sense of responsibility of cadres, civil servants, public employees and the people actively studying Vietnam's law.

They must build, discover and replicate good examples and new and effective ways of law communication suitable to the conditions, practical situations and political tasks of departments and localities.

Localities will communicate through the mass media, conferences, seminars, talks and quizzes, mass campaigns, posters, panels and banners on Law Day on main streets and in schools, public places and central areas, photo and documentation displays and exhibitions, among others.

The Law Day falls on November 9 - the day the first Constitution of Vietnam was adopted in 1946, marking a historical milestone in building the rule of law for the people, the people, and the people. It was officially recognized in 2013 under the Law on Law Dissemination and Education.

The Law Day aims to honor the Constitution and Law, cultivate people's sense of law observance and is organized every year to affirm the position and role of the Constitution and Laws in State management and social life.

It is also an opportunity to praise those who record outstanding achievements in these activities.
