Hanoi studied models of smart city in the world

From September 18 to 27, delegation of Hanoi under the leadership of the Vice Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen The Hung has visited and worked at London (England), Paris (France), and Turin (Italy) to review and study the modal of smart city.
The delegation worked at the Creative Center Level 39.

At London and Paris, the delegation has visited and worked with the Vietnam Embassy at England and France; attended the 72nd anniversary of Vietnam’s national day at the office of Vietnam Embassy at England. The Vice Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen The Hung thanked the support of Vietnam embassy for the delegation of Hanoi.
The Vice Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee briefed on the plan of developing smart city in Hanoi with priorities of building smart transport system and the command center. The Vietnamese ambassador to England Nguyen Van Thao and the Vietnamese ambassador to France Nguyen Ngoc Son expressed their delights at the development of Hanoi, as well as the future direction of the city in developing smart city, as well as to show willingness in creating favorable conditions for Hanoi approaching experienced enterprises and agencies in developing smart city and smart transport.
The Hanoi delegation has visited and worked with command centers and transport management of London, Paris and Turin. At Turin, Vice Mayor of the city – Mr. Guido Montanari expressed his delight in welcoming the delegation. At the same time, the delegation also worked with organizations and enterprises to study new solutions and experiences implementing smart systems in transport, health care, emergency response, such as: Siemens and the Crystal building (one of the smartest and most efficient in energy saving in the world), Level 39 creative center (the largest incubator in Europe and in the world), Bankable company in London (England); European Emergency Number Association (EENA); Paris Public Transport Operator (RAPT); Emergency medical services in Paris (France); Smartmicro at Hannover (Germany); and Swarco at Turin (Italy).

The Vice Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen The Hung also recommended enterprises and organizations with experience in smart city to share and exchange experience with regard to technological solutions for Hanoi in building the command center for transport management and operation in the coming time.
