A conference will be held on August 1 to take stock of the 15th anniversary of the implementation of Resolution No. 15/2008/NQ-QH12 of the 12th National Assembly, dated May 29, 2008, on the adjustment of the administrative boundaries of the capital.

The conference will highlight the benefits, limitations, causes and lessons learned in the management and implementation of the policy. On this basis, tasks and solutions will be proposed to continue effectively implementing the above-mentioned resolution in the new period.

Following the National Assembly's approval, Hanoi tripled in size with the merger of Ha Tay Province, Me Linh District of Vinh Phuc Province and a sizable portion of Luong Son District in Hoa Binh Province.
