Hanoi urges connection between businesses and vocational training institutions
Hanoi supports workers to post job seeking announcements and enterprises to post job recruitment information through two websites of vieclamhanoi.net and vieclamhanoi2.vn.

Accordingly, Hanoi’s authorities asked the three parties: vocational training institutions, enterprises and workers to establish cooperation agreements.

Every year, the city organizes 10-12 matching sessions for job seekers and employers. Besides, Hanoi’s authority has opened 13 matching points in the city’s peri-urban districts to give free consultancy, career guidance and job introduction for employees, help job seekers directly meet with employers, thereby being able to find jobs suitable to their abilities and training expertise.
Moreover, Hanoi supports workers to post job seeking announcements and enterprises to post job recruitment information through two websites of vieclamhanoi.net and vieclamhanoi2.vn.
According to the Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment, the city has seen a total of 9,420 newly-established enterprises in the first five months of 2019, while their registered capital increased 36% from a year earlier to a combined VND97.5 trillion (US$4.2 billion). 70% -80% of rural laborers find stable employments every year.
By the end of 2018, Hanoi's overall unemployment rate was 1.91% while in the urban area, the rate was 2.41%. The city's authority issued a decision to pay unemployment insurance allowance for 54,600 people with VND974 billion (US$41.882 million) and give vocational training support for 2,217 people with over VND6.7 billion (US$288.1).
In 2019, Hanoi city sets the target to create jobs for 154,000 workers, and the unemployment rate in urban areas will be kept below 4%.
