Chairman of Hanoi People`s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung said that the Capital City will invite art troupes from ASEAN countries to represented performance in the space of the Old Quarter`s pedestrian streets.

Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung said that as a comprehensive strategic partnership, friendship and cooperation relations between Vietnam and Cambodia over the years has made rapid development. The two Capitals, Hanoi and Phnom Penh also has a relationship of comprehensive cooperation. With the long friendly relations, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee wishes, in the future, the Ambassador will be the bridge to continue building cooperative relations between Vietnam and Campuchia in general and between the two Capitals in particular.
New Cambodian Ambassador to Vietnam Prak Nguon Hong has pledged to develop relations between Hanoi and Phnom Penh during his tenure in the host country. The diplomat expressed his support for Hanoi’s building of pedestrian roads and affirmed Cambodia is ready to take part in the city’s cultural activities and art performances.
Chairman Chung lauded the partnership between Vietnam and Cambodia. He said he hopes the Ambassador will foster relations between the two countries and two capitals. In the courtesy meeting, Mr. Nguyen Duc Chung proposed, in 2017 and subsequent years, Hanoi has created walking streets recently and Hanoi People's Committee wants to invite culture and art delegations from other ASEAN member states, especially Phnom Penh of Cambodia and Vientiane of Laos, the repertoire to perform in space of pedestrian streets to promote ASEAN countries' culture. He added that this is an excellent opportunity for Cambodia to promote its culture.
Responded to Nguyen Duc Chung, Ambassador of Cambodia would like to thank the Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee for supporting the Embassy of Cambodia in recent years. Prak Nguon Hong confirmed, he will continue to strengthen two countries relations, support the MPC to organize pedestrian streets, and will participate in this activity.
