Hanoi has five satellite urban areas approved by the Vietnamese government under the master plan for the capital’s construction to 2030 with a vision to 2050.
Hanoi is working out 25 zone projects in the city’s five satellite urban areas, Director of the Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture Le Vinh said.
Accordingly, Hanoi’s five satellite urban areas approved by the Vietnamese government under the master plan for the capital’s construction to 2030 with a vision to 2050 include Soc Son satellite urban area with six subdivisions, Xuan Mai satellite urban area with three subdivisions, Phu Xuyen satellite urban area with three subdivisions, a satellite urban area with nine subdivisions, and Hoa Lac satellite urban area with four subdivisions.
By the end of September, the Department of Planning and Architecture had submitted to the Hanoi People's Committee 57/68 zoning plans and the general planning for approval, Vinh noted.
Of the remaining 11 projects, the department has submitted to the City People's Committee six zone planning projects in the historical inner city for approval.
They include projects H1-1 (A, B, C) in the ancient streets of Hoan Kiem district, H1-2 project in Ba Dinh district, H1-3 project in Dong Da district and part of Nguyen Du ward, Hai Ba Trung district, H1-4 project in Hai Ba Trung district.
