Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Expo 2025 draws record business appointments

As part of the program, around 250 international buyers, journalists and social media influencers enjoyed destination and culinary experiences across the city from September 4 to 8.

THE HANOI TIMES — The Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Expo 2025 (ITE HCMC 2025) attracted over 20,000 business appointments and more than 46,000 visitors, creating memorable impressions of the southern economic hub.

The event took place last week at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Tan My Ward, with an expanded scale and links to the Export Forum 2025 and the “International Supply Chain Connectivity” event.

These events are expected to become cultural highlights, enriching visitor experiences and strengthening Vietnam's image.

At the closing ceremony, Ho Chi Minh City was honored with the Tourism Promotion Organization for Global Cities (TPO)'s Best Awards 2025, held within the framework of ITE HCMC.

The recognition came for the city’s campaign “Find Your Vibes”, praised for its creative approach to showcasing Ho Chi Minh City’s identity as both culturally rich and modern, dynamic.

The award, presented by the TPO, focuses on innovative marketing strategies which foster destination value and contribute to sustainable tourism development.
