Housing for revolutionary contributors to be completed by July 27

Some 19 out of 34 cities and provinces have fully met their housing construction goals for revolution contributors and their families.

THE HANOI TIMES — Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh urged local authorities to finish building houses for martyrs' families and those who rendered service to the revolution by July 27, calling it a practical action to commemorate the 78th War Invalids and Martyrs Day.

He made this request on July 20 while visiting contributors to the revolution and inspecting housing construction for policy beneficiaries in the Mekong Delta provinces.

Expressing his gratitude and best wishes to the veterans and their families, Prime Minister Chinh reaffirmed that the Party and the state's only goal is to ensure a prosperous and happy life for the people.

He emphasized that eliminating temporary and dilapidated housing is a crucial political mission and a significant way to honor national contributors.

All housing for heroes, martyrs' families, and revolution contributors must be completed by War Invalids and Martyrs Day [July 27], and the national goal of eradicating all temporary and dilapidated homes must be achieved by August 31.
