Hanoi's suburban district of Dan Phuong is becoming greener and cleaner.
After 15 years of merging with Hanoi, Dan Phuong District has undergone spectacular development, rising to the top of the capital's new-style rural construction campaign.
Located about 20 kilometers to the west north of Hanoi, Dan Phuong is the first district in the city to be recognized by the Vietnamese Government as one that meets the standards of new-style rural construction for the period 2011-2015.
In particular, the district has 12/15 communes that meet the standard of model new-style rural areas so far, becoming the leading locality of Hanoi in building the model. Other provinces and cities have sent delegations to Dan Phuong to learn from the district's experience.
