Italy wishes to cooperate with Hanoi in greenery projects

Italy's Vannucci Group will help the Hanoi government train human resources, build nurseries for plant varieties at Hanoi Green Park Company to ease air pollution in the city.

Vannucci Group hopes to cooperate with Hanoi in greenery projects in the time ahead, especially in Formular One (F1) racing area, the company's Director of External Relations Andrea Massaini said at a teleconference with Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung on December 16.

Andrea Massaini added that Vannucci Group will help the municipal government train human resources, build nurseries for plant varieties at Hanoi Green Park Company to ease air pollution in the city.

About Vannucci Group, Andrea Massaini said that the enterprise is the world’s third largest company in urban greenery.

Vannucci Group has implemented greenery projects in 60 countries and territories, as well as five Olympic Games.

For his part, Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung asked Vannucci Group to make a concrete cooperation plan with regards to timeline, plant samples and options for greenery planning of Hanoi city.

Hanoi will host a number of notable events in the next two years such as F1 racing tournament in April 2020, SEA Games 31 and ASEAN ParaGames 11 in 2021. In preparation for such events the city’s government will continue to grow trees extensively.
