K-pop Lovers Festival 2025 to enliven Hanoi streets

The event promises thrilling performances and hands-on experiences, celebrating K-pop culture with fans from across Vietnam in Hanoi.

THE HANOI TIMES — The K-Pop Lovers Festival 2025 will take place on July 19 and 20 on Tran Nhan Tong Pedestrian Street in Hanoi, featuring a variety of exciting activities for K-pop fans.

The event is prepared by the Korean Cultural Center in partnership with the Korea Creative Content Agency and The Seoul Newspaper.

This year's festival will include decorating K-pop merchandise in the Fangirl Zone, dancing with AI in the K-pop Dance Zone, singing like idols in the Sing Along Zone, and exploring Korean tourism in the K-Travel Zone, among other activities.

The festival's biggest draw will be the two performance nights. On July 9, ten exceptional dance crews from across Vietnam will share the stage with Korean choreographer Yechan of 1Million Dance Studio and Vietnamese singer My Anh.

Thirteen top vocalists from a singing competition will perform with renowned Vietnamese artists Lam Bao Ngoc and Cong B on July 20.

The most outstanding group will be selected to appear in the K-pop Cover Dance Festival World Final in South Korea in September.

Director of the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam Choi Seung Jin noted that K-pop expressed hope that the festival would become a cultural highlight for young people in Hanoi.

Now in its 12th year, the festival helps inspire young people passionate about Korean culture.

The event is free and open to the public.
