Around 350 delegates, business representatives, and investors are expected to attend the event. It is the first business and investor meeting held by Khanh Hoa Province since its merger with Ninh Thuan Province on July 1.
According to Tran Hoa Nam, Deputy Chairman of the Khanh Hoa People’s Committee, the conference affirms the province’s commitment to rebuilding trust and creating a transparent and effective investment ecosystem.
During the conference, the provincial government will present potential investment and development opportunities, special policies, and strategic plans to establish the province as a centrally governed city by 2030. Vietnam now has five of its kind, namely Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Haiphong, Danang, Cantho, and Hue.
Provincial leaders will also meet with businesses to address their concerns and foster a friendly, modern, dynamic, and sustainable investment environment.
All feedback received during the conference, along with detailed follow-up progress, will be made public to ensure transparency and tangible results.
Khanh Hoa is committed to improving the local business environment, supporting enterprises, and creating the most favorable conditions while ensuring the rights and interests of investors.
In the first six months of 2025, Khanh Hoa’s gross regional domestic product (GRDP) grew 7.3% year on year, and budget revenue gained 28% to reach VND15.4 trillion (US$589 million).
The newly-merged province now covers an area of more than 8,500 km², with a population of approximately 2.2 million and 65 commune-level administrative units. It's home to Nha Trang City, which accommodates dozens of world-class beaches in addition to centuries-long Cham towers in Ninh Thuan.
Strategically located at the crossroads of Southeast Vietnam, the Central Highlands, and the South Central Coast, it serves as a major gateway to the East Sea (South China Sea).
Given its geographical location, Khanh Hoa has the potential to develop its marine economy, logistics sector, high-quality tourism, high-tech industries, and smart cities.
