Kinh te & Do thi calls for support for victims of historic flooding in central Vietnam
The Kinh te & Do thi newspaper calls on benefactors to support the poor and flood victims in Vietnam's central region.

The Kinh te & Do thi (Economic and Urban) newspaper, the organ of the Hanoi People's Committee, has launched a charity program named "Joining hands to support flood victims in central Vietnam."
Storms Linfa and Nangka have brought torrential rains, causing severe floods and mudslides in central Vietnam in the past two weeks.
The historic calamities have left at least 111 people dead and dozens missing as of October 21, according to the Central Steering Committee for the Prevention and Control of Natural Disasters.
In addition, some 178,000 homes, 7,000 hectares of crops have been damaged and 700,000 livestock have died, according to official data.
Therefore, the Kinh te & Do thi newspaper calls on benefactors, individuals and groups to contribute in-cash and in-kind donations to help the poor and flood victims.
The Kinh te & Do thi newspaper will update the list of benefactors on the website http://kinhtedothi.vn, http://hanoitimes.vn, http://tieudung.vn, http://giaothonghanoi.kinhtedothi.vn.
