Launching ceremony of the University of Hanoi

The Hanoi People`s Committee held a ceremony to announce the decisions signed by the Prime Minister to establish the University of Hanoi on March 28.

The Prime Minister has agreed to establish the University of Hanoi in the direction of building a high-quality university, with modern facilities, and highly qualified training teachers.
"The establishment of the University of Hanoi does not only create opportunities for the municipal students, but it also attracts many local students across the country, contributing to develop more strongly education in the local area and nationwide " - Deputy of Hanoi Party Secretary, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc confirmed at a ceremony to announce the establishment decision of the University of Hanoi on March 28.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy of Hanoi Party Secretary, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc said, the ​​building a university aims to create high-quality resources for the capital and the country.
The Vice Chairman required that the university focuses on implementing some tasks: Initially, the school need to identify and choose key areas, which are its strengths, in order to build the advanced teaching programs and training methods.
At the same time, the university has to open training for new fields to meet the municipal requirements of socio-economic development such as fields of urban management, Sociology, etc.
