Nghe Tinh “vi dam” folk singing nominated as World Heritage
The 9th session of the Intergovernmental Committee of UNESCO Convention on the protection of intangible cultural heritage will be held from November 24 to 28 at the headquarter of UNESC0 in Paris under the chairmanship of the President of the Commission, Mr José Manuel Rodríguez Cuadros.
As reported by the Intergovernmental Committee for the UNESCO Convention, the proposal recognizes records for Vi Dam singing, Nghe Tinh's folk singing cultural heritage intangible representation of humanity will be reviewed in this session .
Nearly 800 delegates from 24 member states of the Intergovernmental Committee and State records suggest the UNESCO recognition as intangible cultural heritage will be attending this meeting.
