Officially inaugurating the two largest tunnels of the Capital

On the morning of January 8, the Ministry of Transport officially inaugurated, and put into use the two largest tunnels in the city of Hanoi, including a tunnel through intersections of Trung Hoa and Thanh Xuan.

The ceremony was attended by the comrades: Member of the Politburo, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc; Politburo Member, Steering Hanoi Party Committee Pham Quang Nghi; Minister of Transport Dinh La Thang; Deputy Secretary of Party Committee Ngo Thi Thanh Hang; Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung said the last time under the support of the Ministry of Transport, the work has been completed and put into use, improve the city traffic like: Nhat Tan Bridges, Nhat Tan - Noi Bai highway, Belt 3, Noi Bai - Lao Cai, Ha Noi - Hai Phong. On behalf of the Hanoi People's Committee Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung Hanoi expressed gratitute to Government, Ministry of Transport and the ministries concerned that have supported Hanoi for building transport infrastructure, contribute to improve traffic in the city.

Speaking at the ceremony to traffic, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc assessed: "These are two important junctions, frequent jams occur in the city of Hanoi. In difficult condition, but construction works were completed ahead of the schedule. On behalf of the Prime Minister, I appreciate the Ministry of Transport, Thang Long PMU, CIENCO4 to make effect to inaugurate the project."
