Photo exhibition marks Hanoi Party Committee’s 90th anniversary

Nearly 200 photos are on display at the exhibition to recall the historical milestones over the past 90 years of the establishment and development of the capital city’s Party Committee.

The exhibition “Hanoi - Faith and Aspiration to Rise” opened at the Hanoi Museum on March 12 to celebrate the 90th founding anniversary of the municipal Party Committee (March 17, 1930-2020).

Nearly 200 photos are on display to recall the glorious historical milestones over the past 90 years of the establishment and development of the capital city’s Party Committee.

The exhibits also show that the achievements will be the driving force for the Hanoi municipal Party Committee, authorities and people to make further efforts in the capital’s construction and defense, worthy of the trust of people across the country and international friends.


 The exhibition is divided into four thematic areas, namely, “President Ho Chi Minh with the Hanoi revolutionary movement”, “Historical milestones”, “Faith and Aspiration”, and “Full faith and love for the Party”.

 

With valuable documents and artifacts, the exhibition is a journey to look back on historical milestones of the glorious 90-year history of the Hanoi Party Committee and People.



 The highlights of the exhibition include a letter from President Ho Chi Minh to the Hanoi People's Committee on January 24, 1958 and the lecture by President Ho Chi Minh at the Party training class which is held by the municipal Party Committee.

 Photos on the years of the warfare in defense of the capital city and the country are displayed at the exhibition.

 President Ho Chi Minh's article titled "The capital city must be exemplary as a locomotive to liberate the North of Vietnam".

 Information on the capital city's economic, cultural and social achievements in the period of 2008 - 2017.

 A number of books and publications on the Hanoi Party Committee.

 The exhibition will last until March 20, 2020.
