PM received Panamanian and Bangladeshi Ambassadors

On the afternoon of January 21, in Ha Noi, PM Nguyen Tan Dung welcomed Panamanian Ambassador Servio Sammodio and Bangladeshi Ambassador Shahab Ullah, who are newly-appointed in Viet Nam.

Welcoming the Panamanian Ambassador, PM Dung said the two countries should enhance cooperation on economics, trade, investment, science and technology on the foundation of their close political ties.

At his meeting with the Bangladeshi Ambassador, the PM stated that Viet Nam will make every effort to further deepen its relations with Bangladesh, especially in economics, trade, investment tourism and people-to-people exchange.

He affirmed that the Vietnamese Government will create favorable conditions for the ambassador to fulfill his missions during his tenure in Viet Nam.

For his part, Shahab Ullah said he admires Viet Nam’s economic growth as well as achievements in poverty reduction, gender equality and mother and children caring, as well as the country’s efforts to deal with climate change. The Ambassador committed to doing his utmost to connect the two countries’ ministries and sectors and localities, thus enhancing the bilateral relations.
