Promoting Hanoi - Yunnan cultural exchanges

On October 28, Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People`s Congress of Yunnan Province (China) Zhangbaishan has a meeting with Vice Chairman of City Council Le Van Hoat.

At the meeting, Mr. Zhangbaishan said that, the visit of the delegation and art performance of Yunnan province (at Hanoi Opera House on October 27) are so successful, stirring up the traditional friendly relations between China  and Vietnam.

The two sides affirmed that the two countries have traditional relations of friendship in the struggle for national liberation, which the revolutionary predecessors, leader President Ho Chi Minh and Chairman Mao Zedong had established, should be kept together for development cooperation.

In recent years, Hanoi and Yunnan Province have got great achievements in socio-economic development; at the mean time agreeing, promoting cultural exchanges, there should be a positive move to promote economic development, such as economic corridor of Kunming - Hanoi; while expanding and developing cooperation in the fields of trade, tourism, towards the 65th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China (1950-2015).
