Red River Delta’s specialties to be showcased in Hanoi

Some 150 booths will be displaying thousands of OCOP products and regional specialties of the Red River Delta.

A series of One Commune, One Product (OCOP) products and specialties associated with culture of the Red River Delta will be showcased at a fair in Hanoi to celebrate the 1,010th anniversary of Thang Long – Hanoi and the 66th anniversary of the capital’s Liberation Day (October 10).

The fair will run from October 8 to 12 on Trinh Cong Son street, Hanoi.

Within the framework of the event, 150 booths will be displaying thousands of OCOP products and regional specialties of the Red River Delta as well as other provinces and cities nationwide. 

Visitors to the exhibition will also have a chance to enjoy calligraphy demonstrations, Bat Trang pottery making, Xam singing, ornamental plants including more than 200 orchids and 66 paintings themed “Vietnamese Flowers” epitomizing the 66th anniversary of the capital's liberation.

On the sidelines of the event, a seminar on trade connection and consumption of OCOP products of the Red River Delta is scheduled for October 9. This is a regular activity with the aim of connecting OCOP products, regional specialties to distribution systems, trade centers and supermarkets. The event also aims at introducing the products to consumers of the city, Vietnam and international tourists.
