Hanoians struggle to keep cool under heat wave on street
As Hanoi is forecast to endure a hot spell with temperatures reaching up to 41 degrees Celsius, workers struggle to make a living under harsh weather.

The scorching heat is predicted to linger in the North and the Central region of Vietnam in the next few days as the result of low pressure in combination with the strong Foehn wind effect. |
As noted by The Hanoi Times at midday on June 20, the temperature in streets such as Nguyen Trai, Lang, Vu Pham Ham, Pham Hung rose to over 41 degrees Celsius.

An environmental worker tries to get the job done quickly to avoid spending a lot of time in the scorching sun because it is easy to get heatstroke, leading to dehydration. |
