A psychologist, Meyer, who works for the businessman, suggests a plan. Marie is known to be extremely unlucky and accident-prone; the psychologist advises sending someone equally accident-prone to find her, on the theory that what happened to her may also happen to him, and thus, following her steps while the detective tags along, the daughter can be found and returned home.

Among them is Belle, his youngest daughter, a joyful girl full of grace and charm. One day, on an arduous journey, the merchant stumbles on the magical realm of the Beast, who condemns him to death for stealing a rose. Feeling responsible for the terrible fate that has befallen her family, Belle offers herself up in her father’s place.
But at the Beast’s castle, it is not death that awaits her, but a strange life in which moments of enchantment are mingled with joy and sadness. Every evening at dinner time, Belle and the Beast sit down together. At first like strangers with nothing in common, they slowly discover one another. While Belle must reject his amorous advances, she tries to unravel the mysteries surrounding the Beast and his realm. When night falls, fragments of the Beast’s life are revealed to her in dreams, and she discovers a tragic story in which this lonely and ferocious Beast was once a stately prince.
Armed with her courage to overcome countless dangers, Belle opens her heart and manages to release the Beast from his curse. In doing so, she discovers true love.

Film Screening “Building Hope – The Story of Mahiga Hope High School”
You are invited screenings of the film “Building Hope, The story of Mahiga Hope High School” by Turk Pipkin about building a high school for students in Kenya, Africa.
This is the 4th screening of this year program themed on “Architecture and Sustainable Development” by Architecture Movies Club.
The film contains valuable lessons, not only about community development but how to build a construction in a deserted area where we must come up with creative solutions with limited resources while maintaining the traditional construction methods.
Building a school might be difficult, but choosing which educational method to apply – or deciding how to manage the school – might cause even more headaches!
The film will be screened with Vietnamese subtitles. Free entry at 3A Ngo Quyen Str, Hanoi on Sat 03 Jun 2017, 10 a.m.
