Hanoi Times- The experimental installation of water heater using solar power by the Hanoi Energy Conservation Center in 5 northern provinces has gained socio-economica and environmental achievements.
Solar water heater has the average life span of 12-15 years and is expected to save 2,000-2,500 KWh/year in comparison with electric water heater and it is very safe. In addition, 1m2 of solar water heater reduces 150 kg of CO2/ year against the current used water heater.-
