[Video] Song for SEA Games 31 unveiled

The SEA games 31’s official song titled “Let’s shine” (Hay toa sang) is hoped to encourage athletes and be loved by sports enthusiasts in Vietnam and internationally.

Composed by renowned songwriter Huy Tuan, the song was chosen among hundreds of entries submitted to the contest. Tuan said he was proud that his work is adopted to be used in the Southeast Asia Sport Games events.

The official song for SEA Games 31 titled “Let's shine” will be performed by famous local singers such as Hong Nhung, My Linh, Tung Duong, Ha Anh Tuan, among others. The official music video will be released in the near future.

Deputy Director of the Vietnam Sports Administration Le Thi Hoang Yen said the song lyrics are easy to memorize and have upbeat melodies. It expresses the pride of Vietnamese people in a beautiful and culturally rich country. It also promotes sportsmanship, glory as well as encourages athletes to strive for the highest performance.

The song, which sends a message of development, solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and international friends has Its lyrics in Vietnamese and the chorus in English.
“Let’s shine” was revealed during a ceremony held in Hanoi on March 20 which honored outstanding athletes and coaches of Vietnam in the previous year.
