Hanoi to clean up polluted To Lich river with water from Red river

The proposed project is not only about pollution treatment but also improving landscape by building a park named “To Lich Park of History-Culture-Spirituality."
The Hanoi Department of Construction has once again requested the team to show their legal documents, but so far the company has not responded to the request.
Hanoi’s wastewater treatment site is a key and vital project as it would collect and purify sewage discharged by people in seven districts.
The To Lich river’s landscape needs to be renovated by collecting all sewage for treatment, that ensures environmental standards before it is discharged back into the river.
The project aims at facilitating transport and reducing accidents along Lang street which runs parallel to the To Lich river and at crossroads in the area.
Currently, building a sewage collection system along banks of Hanoi's polluted river is the last and the best option.
Hanoi Water Supply and Sewerage Company has proposed using the Red river’s water through a system of pumps to supplement West Lake and clean up the To Lich river.
