The Capital to seriously enhance education of morality and lifestyle in families

The Hanoi People’s Committee has recently issued Document 4257/UBND-KGVX on implementing Directive 11/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on enhancing education of morality and lifestyle in families.



 
Under the Document, the Hanoi People’s Committee requests Department of Culture and Sports, city’s agencies and sectors, People’s Committees of districts, suburban districts and towns to take following actions:

Implementing popularization and education in different ways, focusing on the role and significance of morality, good behavior and lifestyle in families, organizations and social forces, thus protecting and promoting cultural values of families and the country; further implement popularization and education of morality and lifestyle in families according to approved programs and projects;

Guiding units to carry out education of morality and lifestyle in families in association with activities in hamlets, villages and residential groups; increase popularization, and improve people’s awareness on functions of families and role of family members; improve behavioral skills of members in the families, prevent domestic violence, help them be aware of gender equality, eradicate backward bias of gender inequality, and contribute to building prosper, equal, progressive, happy cultural families.   


The Department of Culture and Sports acts as advisor in supervising, summing up information of implementing Directive 11/CT-TTg dated March 29, 2017 of the Prime Minister on enhancing education of morality and lifestyle in families. Based on their functions and missions, city’s departments and agencies integrate and implement the education content.

The Municipal Party Committee's Commission of Propaganda and Education directs Hanoi press agencies to build columns specialized in educating morality and lifestyle in families, and educate morality and lifestyle in families in the new context.

Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi, Hanoi Woman’s Association, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hanoi and member units integrate the education into movements, and implement education of morality and lifestyle.
