The Vietnam Performing Artists Association (VSAA), in cooperation with the Hanoi Department of Culture and Information, organized the capital's fourth theater festival from September 26 to October 3, 2020.
This year, the festival featured the participation of 14 shows from troupes from the capital and some other towns such as Ho Chi Minh City, Bac Lieu, Bac Giang, among others, adding more color and charm to the festival.
The festival has been considered one of the highest quality playing fields for theater artists in the capital. All the troupes prepared very meticulously for the festival from the script to the performance on stage. There are plays that become popularized through the festival such as "The White Bird at Night" from the Cheo Theater in Hanoi, "The Children of Hanoi" from the Dramatic Theater in Hanoi, or "The Hanoi Monsoon" from the Cai Luong Theater in Vietnam.

At the same time, this festival is a place not only for professional exchanges and learning between artists, but also for young artists to find new inspiration to continue dedicating their talents to the job, contributing to the development of the Vietnamese theater industry.
This festival did not present multiple awards for different categories as before, according to the organization board. No more than 35 percent of the works of art would be present award. Only the best works were honored.
The festival was held with free admission as it is not only a professional festival but also one of the significant cultural activities of the capital for the public.
