The imprint of a dynamic government

Innovations in operating activities and determination in addressing the problems are widely commented in retrospecting a year`s work of Hanoi People`s Committee Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung.

An administration of service is being clearly formed from the City to the localities and that spirit will continue to be strengthened in 2017 when the City identified as Year of Administrative Discipline.

The popularization focuses on achievement in different fields in 2016, analysis of international situation in 2017, opportunities and challenges for the national economy, and asserts leadership of the Party, the Government as well as contribution of sectors, units, localities, civil servants, Party members and the people.

It also aims to highlight progress in growth model and economic structure; point out shortcomings and reasons, in particular slow progress of implementing the Party’s policies on improving growth model and restructuring the economy at all levels, sectors and localities; specify four points of view and orientations on growth model, key purposes and policies for further improving growth model, raising growth quality, labor productivity and competitiveness of the economy.

In order to popularize Resolution 06-NQ/TW dated November 5, 2016 of the 4th Central Congress (12th tenure) on implementing economic integration, ensuring political and social stability in the context of free trade agreements, Hanoi will pay special attention to achievement in the process of international integration, shortcomings, new situation, its effect on Vietnam’s integration process, and major policies.

Furthermore, the city requires more effort to disseminate information about sessions of the 14th National Assembly, activities of the State in 2017, realization of Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress and Resolution of the 16th Party Congress of Ha Noi, especially five key tasks, three breakthroughs and eight working programs of the 16th Municipal Party Executive Committee, Hanoi’s major policies as well as socio-economic growth, national defense and security, realization of Year of Administrative Discipline campaign and emulation movements, typical models in the field of socio-economic growth, and refute false allegations on socio-economic situation of the city and country, policies of the Party and the State.

These include a lot of "imprints" in operating and general operation of the city in the past year, as well as the role of City Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung. As Hanoi is the first locality in the country to successfully hold a conference for investment and development, with the participation of a large number of investors, businesses, promoting entrepreneurship, increasing number of newly-established enterprises. Hanoi is also leading the country on the implementation of public online services at 3 levels of communes, wards and is moving towards electronic government.

The very aggressive steering of City Chairman in advance of the specific case made a good impression during the operation. The City leader repeatedly stressed the "ideas" to improve the living environment of the people and does not stop at the determination, specific actions have been implemented.
