In her opening speech, Le Kim Anh, Chairwoman of the Hanoi Women's Union, said that this year's festival is aimed at arousing pride in the tradition of the international women's movement, the glorious tradition of Vietnamese women, the tradition of the thousand-year-old capital, the City for Peace.

The program is meant to spread the spirit of solidarity, integration, and development between Hanoi women and international women, expressing the aspiration for a peaceful and developed world. At the same time, it created an exciting atmosphere to promote the role of women in the new era of the nation.

Bui Thi Kim, dressed in Muong traditional costume from Thach That District, Hanoi, said: "I want to showcase the cultural identity of the Muong people at this festival, including our traditional attire.
