Three passengers returning from Ebola virus-hit Liberia have been put in isolation at the HCM City Hospital for Tropical Diseases upon their arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
Through the thermal scanner system installed at the airport, one of the three passengers showed symptoms of fever.
The three men born in Quang Nam and Quang Ngai provinces, central Vietnam, had done the printing job in Liberia for two to four years.
On September 11, the isolated workers are in stable condition and show no sign of high temperatures. They will be soon discharged from the hospital and be further kept under tight control in their localities.
Since the Ebola virus disease broke out in Africa, six passengers have been quarantined in hospital in Vietnam for medical examinations, including two Nigerians and four Vietnamese nationals returning from Nigeria and Liberia.
