The Temple of Literature launched an audio guide service for visitors.

The audio guide is available in eight languages: Vietnamese, English, French, Spanish, South Korean, Japanese, Thailand and Chinese. To experience the service, visitors put on their headphones, which are connected with handheld devices, select the targeted language, and then explore at their leisure.
A new way-finding and sign guideline system designed by French experts were also put into operation on the occasion. The improvements aim to better serve visitors to the Temple of Literature, thus making the site more attractive to tourists from both home and abroad. Accordingly, Temple of Literature welcomed 1.6 million visitors in 2017, 60% of which were foreigners.
For the whole year 2017, Hanoi is expected to welcome 23.83 million tourists, up 9% against the previous year, of which international tourists reaching 4.95 million, up 23% against the previous year, total revenue from tourists estimated at VND70 trillion (US$3 billion), up 15% compared to 2016. Hanoi is ranked by several world's leading travel magazines among 20 tourist destinations, the top ten fast-growing tourism cities and one of the most attractive destinations in the world.
Hanoi is striving to welcome 5.5 million foreigners among over 25.4 million tourists in 2018, confirming itself as an attractive destination in the region and the world. To reach the goal, Hanoi will focus on developing high-quality products at favourite destinations such as the world heritage site of Thang Long imperial citadel, Temple of Literature, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, and Ho Chi Minh Presidential Palace.
