Tram mountain is of moderate height, suitable for hiking and camping.
The gorgeous scenery of the magnificent Tram mountain next to the romantic Day river is an ideal destination for you to enjoy yourself in the beautiful nature.
Tram mountain (also known as Tu Tram Son) is located in the middle of the rich delta, next to the Day river in Long Chau village, Phung Chau commune, Chuong My district and about 20 km from the center of Hanoi. From the first foot touches, Tu Tram Son puts you in the peaceful world of rock, grass and trees, of familiar nature. The great limestone karst is made up of many small peaks, bizarre rocks and mysterious caves. Tu Tram Son is like the rocky plateau in northern Ha Giang province, evoking wildness and magnificent poetry. It is also associated with relics of three temples including Tram Pagoda, Hang Pagoda and Vo Vi pagoda with high spiritual meaning according to legends. In the sixteenth century, Tu Tram Son was the excursion place of every Le king and Trinh lord.
Tram mountain is of moderate height, suitable for hiking and camping. You can follow the cliffs to conquer Tram mountain. The color of the rice field changes with the season, sometimes the fields are filled with water when the rice is young but yellow flowers rise from the water surface, adding to the attractiveness of the scene. After climbing, what is more interesting is to camp and enjoy the barbecue party in the wild and cool air. Here, you can admire the sunset and the shining stars in the night sky. This will be a great destination for you to be in love with nature and temporarily leave the hectic urban life.
And for the "stone plateau" of the capital to always be a great excursion for Hanoi people and tourists, do not forget to collect garbage before saying goodbye to the place.
