Travel to Ninh Binh: the outstanding tourism attraction of Mua Cave

The fabulous nature wonder in the northeastern region of Vietnam is considered as “the Inland Halong Bay” or the “Little Great Wall of Vietnam”.

Mua cave or Hang Mua in Vietnamese is located in Khe Dau Ha village, Ninh Xuan commune, Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province. The fabulous nature wonder of Vietnam is used to be illustrated as “the Inland Halong Bay in Vietnam” and the “Little Great Wall of Vietnam” by the Telegraph from UK.

The terrain of Mua cave looks majestic with rolling mountains surrounding a whole large delta, like a rampart to protect the whole former imperial citadel of Hoa Lu town.

The legend has it that the name of the Mua Cave or Dance Cave was originated from Tran dynasty (1225 to 1400) when the King chose the place as a retreat where he enjoyed dances performed by beautiful imperial consorts.
Located on a spacious area of around 800 sqm., the mountain housing Mua cave has the shape of a giant bell amidst the gorgeous kart-lime mountains.
Visitors have to climb 486 stone steps to reach the top of mountain and it is extremely worth for their efforts: the breathtaking scenery of Tam Coc area appears in front of their eyes like the majestic scenes in a Wal Disney’s fairy motion picture.
The temples on the top of Mua cave mountain was built in typical Vietnamese traditional architecture, bearing the imprints of Tran dynasty style with sophisticated lotus and dragon decorative patterns.
A temple to worship the historical celebrity Truong Han Sieu is located ion Mua Cave tourist complex.

Together with Trang An ecological tourism complex, Mua Cave is a must-visit place   for visitors to Ninh Binh province.

The tourism complex of Mua Cave - Ngoa Long (sitting dragon) mountain is about 10 kilometers away from Ninh Binh city center, and around 100 kilometers from Hanoi.
